The Ski Lodge at Peaceful Country Lifestyle is located at the base of Peaceful Mountain. The Lodge is everything you hope to encounter when heading off for a day on the slopes and a lunch by a roaring
through the woods and to other cabin sites. Flowing creeks along the trails are crossed over by covered bridges. The Ski Lodge has rustic siding of natural tone logs. large double front doors are of natural heavy wood and smoked glass. The door handles are made of small miniature skis that pull and open to a magnificant large stone fire place in the center. The vast stone sets the stage for a wonderful crackling fire and has a large seated hearth that surrounds the fire and allows for warming up after a day on the slopes. The stairs are open and lead in different directions to upper levels that offer ski clothing, gear and shops filled with unique gift items. Visitors to the Ski Lodge love to take home something
unique from Peaceful Country Lifestyle. The top level at Ski Lodge sits very high, actually five levels up and houses the Windy Bar and Restaurant which overlooks slopes to the west. After a day of winter fun folks can find their way to the top where they can sit and view night fall with slopes lit to the west. At night The Ski Lodge presents dining and dancing. Jason Harrington is the proud owner of this fine Ski Lodge. He has been know around the area as one of the finest skiers in the country. His parents had skis on Jason at the age of three. His love of the snow topped mountains, winding slopes and tall pines has inspired his dream of The Ski Lodge from his earlier days. Jason retired his formal career only to create a dream of powder white snow surrounding a warm and rustic lodge. The Ski Lodge is of course very busy during the winter season and holidays are an absolute must see for visitors. The Ski Lodge is
open year round for other seasonal events. Many a couple have found solitude and peace while honeymooning at The Ski Lodge. The sights and sounds of crackling fire, ski boots, laughter and music fill the warm rustic Ski Lodge with winter bliss. This year Jason has been particularly interested in expanding The Ski Lodge from the deepest part of the pine woods. Some of the town folks have seen him meeting with architects that specialize in Ski Lodges. Rumor has it that he is planning to build a second detached part of the lodge for guests to stay overnight. There is even talk of a rustic indoor theater for additional entertainment on stage. No need to despair when winter cold and flurries fly at Peaceful Country Lifestyle. It is then time to cozy up by a great fire and begin a winter journey down a slope or two. Perhaps a fine dinner with a bottle of wine while gazeing to the west where the greatest skiiers around fly gracefully down the slopes.
